Mr. Twisty

Just a little side note, I made a top-whorl drop spindle today in my spare time and spun the bit of fiber that one of the Guild ladies had given me. It's maybe a foot long, Z twist, turquoise and plied. I'm very proud of it. I have named this particular spindle Mr. Twisty, and he will be my carry-along friend when I want to make yarn on-campus. As I vaguely remembering someone saying on a forum somewhere, walking around with a drop-spindle totally gives you street cred.
